This prestigious event, supported by the British Property Federation, will be one of the first major UK seminars covering a multitude of issues relating to green buildings. Liz Peace (CBE) of the British Property Federation will address the audience with a key note speech. Further presentations will include an overview of the LES-TER project by Patrick Brown (Senior Policy Officer, BPF), a summary of the regulations for the certification of buildings provided Dr David Strong of the UK Green Building Council and a lawyers perspective for the development of green leases by Paul Jayson of DLA Piper UK. Also Miles Keeping of GVA Grimley will provide us with an overview of the asset values of green buildings. Angela Langley from the Centre for Research in the Built Environment will also launch the release of the Good Practice Guide “Incorporating Environmental Best Practice into Commercial Lease Agreements” with an overview of the Good Practice Guide together with case study presentations.
